This is a story about Mutjalanydjal the dolphin.
Mutjalanydjal is the totem that belongs to Rirratjingu, Djambarrpuyngu and Galpu. These clans sing and dance to this animal. This mutjalanydjal also represents yolngu people of these bapurru (clans) names.
Mutjalanydjal is a very intelligent animal. We call this animal buku yolngu which means that this animal can communicate with yolngu people.
The green plant is called Gamada (the sea weed) the dolphin’s food.
