Breeding Season
This print shows some of the different types of goya (fish) we like to hunt and eat in the different seasons. Here we are looking into the ocean – in the saltwater. You can see at the top Nguykal – the giant trevally or king fish that comes to the coastal areas in November and December. At the bottom of the print is Mana (shark) and the Marrala (Manta Ray).
We need to remember about the ocean and treat it with respect so that the fish continue to come to our shores and the future generations can continue to hunt for them.
