This print tells the story of the bush yams – the marwat ŋatha – the leaves of the yams we eat. There are different types of yams, Djitama, Rinytjangu and Gangari. Some are Yirritja and some are Dhuwa. We dig the yams up and cook them in the hot coals of the fire.
They are manymak ŋatha (good food).
