As told by the artist:

‘This print is about the gapu (water) the rough water and the fish under the rough water is called Milika, Moon fish. The water is called Rulyapa.

If the water is rough and you are trying to find some fish in the rough water you can’t really see the fish clearly. But you can see a shadow. When you look at this print you can’t really see the guya (fish) under the Rulyapa but when you look closer you can see the shadow of the fish.’
