Riny’tjaŋu
The Gälpu clan dance and sing this manikay (song). The story is of miyalk (women) walking in the bush looking for ŋatha (food). They are looking for riny’tjaŋu (yams). We carry wapitja (digging stick) and look for a special leaf that tells us where they are buried. The name of the song, dance and the yam is the same: riny’tjaŋu.
