The main ideas behind this design are food that Yolŋu people collect from the bush. The reason I chose to create this design is the food I have included, fish, oysters and yams are all delicious and I can collect all this food around Arnhem Land. The round shape is a bathi (bag) with a string handle used to carry the yams. On top of the bag are oysters and fish. The small thin lines in the centre are leaves used to cover the food in the bathi.
