Miliditpi
This design commemorates the arrival of the Djaŋ’kawu Sisters at Yalaŋbara. These creation beings give birth to all of the Dhuwa moiety clans.
They approach the shore in the hours before dawn after paddling from another dimension.
Their oars are transformed into mawalan or digging sticks. The rays of the sunlight before the Dawn or Goŋ-Walu, also known as barawun extend to the bottom of the design. These also mimic the feathered strings attached to the Mawalan. They act as a pathway for the Sisters to find their way in the dark starlit waters.
Then comes the half circle of the sun as it rises across the horizon line. This is known as Miliditpi.
