Merrkiyawuy #2 is the niece of senior artist M. Gumana (dec. 02/20). Her Mother is Banguli Munuŋgurr. Merrkiyawuy #2 mainly makes bird carvings which she engraves finely with a razor blade. It is her signature to have her clan design beautifully incised into the carvings with a very fine line.
