Father was Manirri/Maŋirri. Lived at Bukudal but now mainly at Waṉḏawuy. Djarrayaŋ is an elder, ceremonial songman and landowner of the Dhalwaŋu clan. Principally creates in ceremony rather than for the market but has been a longterm occasional artist for Buku-Larrŋgay over the last three decades. He was a contributor to the landmark Saltwater Collection in 1998 which led to the successful High Court Blue Mud Bay case.
