I am the grandson of Banduk Marika. She is a famous print maker and artist from Miwatj. My grandfather’s name is Mirawanga Gurruwiwi. My other grandfather’s are Walarra#2 Gurruwiwi and Djalu Gurruwiwi. Djalu was the one who taught me how to play Yiḏaki and make Yiḏaki. He is a famous Yiḏaki player. People come from all over to get his Yiḏaki and learn from him. My favourite band is Yothu Yindi. One day I hope to have my own band.
